About Me

I am a Michigan Tech graduate (class of 2025) with a degree in computer engineering. After graduating into one of the toughest job markets in computing history, I managed to find work at a small A/V integrator called American Sound. Currently, I work there as a systems engineer, mainly doing work in R&D and internal AI tooling, training, and automation.

I have a unique background in that I completed an abnormally large amount of long internships with various companies during college. This gave me an unusually diverse background in multiple industries, from data science, to fiber, to embedded systems, to industrial PLC programming, and more. I traveled the United States for work and experience for some years, all the while continuing my education and multiple personal side projects. Those years were difficult, but they shaped me into the engineer and person that I am today.

My systems thinking skills have developed quickly over the past four-to-five years and have given me quite the advantage of perspective and analysis. My approach to problem solving is data-oriented, and I leverage it in every part of my life. This method to thinking, learning, and working have earned me a career in Systems Engineering and an outstanding work output. I find great joy in the many techniques available in systems thinking, particularly system and operational modeling and the most recent developments in agentic coding and automation.

Outside of systems engineering and systems thinking, I am also interested in computer science, software engineering, control systems, machine learning, and home-labbing. I like to read a lot and I also enjoy writing a fair bit. As for less technical hobbies, I enjoy listening to and talking about music, especially 90s hip-hop and 70s-80s folk music, as well as play the occasional video game.
